Due to its higher elevation, the hotel enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of the historic town and the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea. With a primarily Gay clientele, though straight-friendly, the hotel organizes many fab poolside events and, on request, can arrange for nude poolside sunbathing.
The Elysium is a four-star bungalow-type hotel with 18 standard rooms and 22 superior rooms, some with kitchenette, and all furnished in classical style. A further two deluxe suites are available, each with two bedrooms.
All standard rooms are spacious and feature air conditioning, hairdryer, direct-dial phone, Internet access, stereo music, mini fridge, color satellite TV, safe box, and private bath with small tub. The Superior Rooms add a sitting area with sofa, which can accommodate a third person, a PC computer with Internet connection and webcam, and a few have kitchenette facilities. The Suites can accommodate 3-4 persons and include a Jacuzzi bath.
A beautifully designed swimming pool and very large outdoor terrace with pool bar are also features of the hotel, and a Fitness Center offers Jacuzzi, massage, steam and sauna, plus a variety of therapies. The hotel has its own restaurant with room service, and there is private onsite parking.
