If it were possible to make the colors and shapes of the landscape in the Prefecture of Drama interchange in front of our eyes at will, we would enjoy a huge Kaleidoscope that would leave us speechless by the infinite wealth of its variations. Drama is a gifted region in Greece connecting economically, geographically, historically, ecologically and culturally the warm coast of the North Aegean Sea to the Balkan Inland. Moreover, being on a geographical spot where various climatic zones meet, it combines within a few square kilometers the mild magic of the south with the irresistible charm of the north. From this viewpoint, the whole of the Prefecture can be considered as a Natural Park, where one can enjoy many different environments in a nutshell: such that, to be enjoyed elsewhere, one would have to travel for endless kilometers.
