Located in Fira Town on the edge of the cliff overlooking the caldera, this beautifully restored neoclassical mansion has outdoor common verandas overlooking one of the best views to be found on the island. The original building dates back 200 years, and has a rich history of having hosted many heads of state and other dignitaries.
It was recently restored and is now an elegant building housing 14 self-catering apartments. The rooms are spacious and sunny and have been furnished with traditional pieces, with soft-toned decorations.
Room amenities include air conditioning, satelite TV, telephone, hairdryer, mini kitchen, and private bath. There is a special non-smoking apartment set aside for those who wish.
Not all rooms have a private balcony or terrace, but all rooms share the common areas and the outstanding views.
Recently a small plunge pool was added, and there's a small lounge and reception area.
