Welcome to Kerkyra!
The prefecture of Kerkyra consisting of Corfu, Paxi and Diapontian islands extends over 638 sq. km. and has a population of 120,000, of which one third live in the town. Because of its somehow northern location and its proximity to the sea, the area enjoys a temperate climate with moderately cold winters and moderately hot summers, ideal for a relaxing and rewarding vacation. The islands’ fertile soil produces a lot of agricultural products and its cultivation gives Corfu its characteristic colors.
