The Portaria offers an excellent array of facilities, including two restaurants, plus a great variety of accommodation types, including family apartments with self-catering facilities. Open year-round, the hotel is an excellent choice, regardless of the season.
There are 65 standard and superior guest rooms, 11 elegant suites (7 of which have fireplace), and 4 apartments, also equipped with an open fireplace and kitchenette.
All rooms feature central heating, air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, color satellite television, stocked mini bar, and private bath with hairdryer, toiletries, and slippers. All rooms have Internet access.
The superior guest rooms have two telephones and a bathtub. The suites and apartments offer bathrobes, and have fireplaces and Jacuzzi bathtubs.
Most of the accommodation have private balcony with view over the city of Volos and the sea.
There are two swimming pools, one indoor heated pool at the spa, and an outdoor pool for the summer, with pool bar.
The main restaurant serves buffet breakfast, plus lunch and dinner daily. The 1990 Restaurant has an a la carte rustic menu, and is a separate building across from the hotel's entrance. It has its own bars, plus outdoor dining area for the summer.
The spa has a wonderful indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam, gym, and a variety of massages and therapies.
