Built at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by trees and greenery, the recently revamped Matala Bay Hotel offers traditional Cretan hospitality and family warmth and good, basic accommodation, swimming pool and restaurant.
The hotel has two separate buildings, one with 55 comfortable guest rooms rooms, and a second with 10 fully-equipped two-room apartments for families. There's also a mini market adjacent to the complex, plus a lovely large swimming pool with sun terrace and children's playground.
