Limeni Village 3-Star Hotels
Location: Peloponnese (Mainland Region) | Lakonia (Prefecture) | Areopoli
Limeni Village |
Limeni Village is built of stone and wood and consists of 16 towers with a stunning view. The minimal aesthetic carries through to the indoor areas as well, and the hotel has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant.
The area itself is quite interesting. The famous Mavromichalis family lived here, so the village became one of the revolutionary centers during the Liberation War against Ottoman rule in 1821.
The Mavromichalis family Tower House has been preserved and will house the Benakis Museum of the region. The whole village is a sightseeing attraction, very picturesque, a genuine representative of the local Maniot architectural tradition and landscape.
The Limeni Village Hotel has continued with the local architectural traditions, as can be seen from the outside of the towers. Though stark in appearance, the views offered are truly exceptional.
There are 35 guest rooms, plus suites, and maisonettes.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini fridge, color television, and private bath with hairdryer. The central feature of every room is the private balcony/veranda with outstanding view.
The main building, situated slightly above the towers, features a lounge with satellite television, fireplace, restaurant, and bar. There is a swimming pool with sun terrace, also with magnificent view.
| Limeni Village Hotel is located at a short walk from Limeni, the port of Areopolis (beware! not Aeropolis!). |
