Amoudi Villas

This complex offers an interesting diversion from the others situated atop the cliffs. Here, you have the experience of relaxing at a small fishing port, right at the water's edge. Amoudi Villas is located at sea level in the little bay of Amoudi, below the traditional village of Oia.

Amoudi Villas is a small complex of traditional cave-style houses built below the ruins of the famous sunset castle. Looking out toward the caldera, you are exactly opposite the island of Thirassia. There are terrific views of the ships passing in and out and the activity of the fishing port, where the daily Volcano Cruise departs.

The beach is quite close, so you do not need transportation, and some of the best fish tavernas on the island are located here. The tiny island of St. Nicholas is about 300 meters from the complex, which is also an excellent swimming spot. The area also has several shops nearby, including a cocktail bar-café, a lounge club restaurant, a minimarket and a souvenir shop.

The villa complex consists of a cluster of traditional houses, hosting 2-5 persons. Furnished with Aegean antiques, comfortable and simple, the atmosphere is more traditional, rather than boutique, and a little bit quirky (in a nice way)

Room amenities include private bath, color satellite television, safe box, air conditioning and kitchenette. In addition, all units have private balcony with sea view. Note, however, that Standard apartments do not have air conditioning.
