Tholos Resort

The Tholos Resort is a small, intimate resort on the rim of the caldera offering elegantly furnished studios and suites with self-catering facilities. The contemporary furnishings and the soft color schemes will make your stay very comfortable. A small swimming pool with caldera view has a nice setting and is a good place to relax. The view, of course, is one-of-a-kind.

The Tholos Resort recently expanded to include a new section of suites. As with all of the units in the complex (about a dozen or so, as we write), they offer incredible views of the volcano. The new Double Senior Suite can accommodate up to five persons, and has a private Jacuzzi on its terrace.

Every accommodation is equipped with air conditioning, kitchenette, safebox, mini fridge, direct-dial phone with Internet access, satellite TV, sofa, bathroom with shower, bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer & make-up mirror. Balconies and verandas have a panoramic view of the famous sunset, the volcano, Thirassia island, the port, Oia and Akrotiri.

The Apartments and Suites of the resort have Jacuzzi baths and a separate living room. The Family Suite can host up to six persons and has an outdoor, private Jacuzzi.

Hotel facilities include a small, very pretty swimming pool and pool bar.
