This extraordinary spa resort was first established in 1957. Its growing reputation led to a total re-design and refurbishment of the resort, and, over the years, it has kept pace with design changes and technological advancement in wellness theory. It is a modern, well-equipped facility, with excellent accommodation and facilities.
The hotel has been totally modernized since its inception, and a 3000 sq. meter Spa center created. Resort facilities are extensive and include three restaurants, the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus an Asian-themed restaurant for lunch and dinner, and a gourmet restaurant, also for lunch and dinner.
There are three bars, the main bar, the pool bar, and the beach bar. For relaxation and fitness, there's a hardcourt floodlit tennis court, and outstanding exterior swimming pools, one with fresh water, and the other with thermal water. Separate facilities for children include freshwater pool, playground, and mini club.
The complex contains two separate buildings and features 224 guest rooms, 106 superior guest rooms, 10 junior suites and 1 presidential suite. All are equipped with individually-controlled temperature settings, private bathroom with bathtubs, telephone, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, radio and color satellite television, direct-dial telephone, mini bar, safe box, and balcony or terrace with pool, mountain or sea views.
Executive guest rooms, junior suites and suites have full sea views. They include additional amenities such as ADSL Internet access and luxury bath amenities.
The modern Wellness Spa covers a total of 3000 sq. meters, and its philosophy is based on traditional Eastern ideas, combined with the healing properties of the mineral waters of Kamena Vourla. Features of the Spa include a seawater pool and thermal water pool with Jacuzzi, a Sauna, Steam room, Solarium, Gym, and more than 200 different face and body treatments and massages. There are personalized programs for weight loss or rejuvenation and special thermal water treatments. For a total Spa experience, the hotel has added manicures, pedicures and hairdresser.
