This five-star hotel was built in 1998 right at the beach of Faliraki. It has one of the loveliest swimming pool areas, with twin, free-form pools, and surrounding sun terraces, plus direct access to a well-organized beach.
With just under 400 rooms and suites, the Rodos Palladium offers a wide selection of accommodation with either mountain view, pool and garden view, or sea view or combination of the above. The smallest room measures a spacious 27 sq. meters; these are standard rooms with mountain or sea view.
Most of the guest rooms and suites are in the main building. A separate 3-storey bungalow building houses the side sea view and sea view bungalows; and another building close to the beach features seafront bungalows.
Every room and suite features individual control air conditioning; writing desk; color satellite television with radio channels; CD/DVD player; direct-dial telephone; safe box; mini fridge; Wi-Fi Internet access; private bath with bathtub, hairdryer and make-up magnifying mirror; and private balcony or veranda.
With 30,000 square meters, the hotel comfortably provides two tennis courts, basketball and volleyball court, an indoor swimming pool, with Jacuzzi and wading pool, plus the huge, island-style twin outdoor pools with surrounding sun terraces. Umbrellas and sunbeds at the pool and at the beach are free of charge.
Other facilities and services include a children's pool and playground with animation staff; a Fitness Center and Spa; an indoor games room; a shopping arcade; hairdresser; Internet Corner; and a CD/DVD Library. The Conference facilities of the resort include four main halls catering from 100 to 400 persons, plus a variety of smaller meeting rooms.
Excellent dining facilities are offered. The Symposium main restaurant features Greek and International cuisine and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Calypso Restaurant is by the pool and serves an a la carte lunch, and the Thalassa a la carte restaurant is a wonderful venue for seafood and Mediterranean dishes. Sandwiches are offered at the Oasis pool bar, and snacks and beverages can be had at the Poseidon beach bar.
