This magnificent estate offers a unique experience to guests who prefer an alternative to the seaside resort experience. Perleas Estate is an ongoing pioneer farm offering high quality holidays to nature lovers and to guests who appreciate the beauty and enduring qualities of a mansion built in 1640.
The main building of the Estate is a mansion built in 1640 following the distinctive lines of Genoan architecture. The ground floor is the residence of the mansion's managers and the first floor, along with the outbuildings, have a total of seven suites that can host up to 14 guests. Internet service and a television are available in the main sitting area of the Estate.
All guestrooms have large windows with a magnificent view to the garden, with its many flowers and plantings. Each unit has private bath and air conditioning. Every suite has its own unique decorative style, and the corridor outside the rooms has an impressive array of antiques and paintings.
The farm has about 1100 trees, especially citrus trees, tangerines, oranges and lemons. The olive trees provide the necessary oil for cooking and there is also a small production of potatoes and vegetables. All cultivation has been certified as organic since 1993, being one of the first to be so designated in the area. There is also a stable with chickens, turkeys, goats, rabbits and pigs.
During the day, there's no need to venture out in search of a restaurant. After your morning breakfast with your hosts, lunch and dinner can be prepared in the Estate's country kitchen, according to the local Chios cuisine and using many of the organic ingredients produced by the farm.
