Anemoessa 2 Pension

The owners of Anemoessa Apts. (see our Self-Catering Section) have now opened a pension in the same area, about a 10-minute walk from the apartment complex.

This renovated building houses 16 double rooms (some can convert to triples) right at the small fishing port of Isternia. There are eight rooms with a full sea view, and another eight rooms that overlook the countryside/mountain at the back. The building is just steps away from the port's eating facilities, adjacent to a long stretch of sand and pebble beach. Across the sea is the island of Syros, and good sunset views can be had from the pension's location. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, private bath, mini fridge and small cooking ring for the preparation of coffee. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, and the front room sea views are lovely. Since public bus service leaves you with a very, very long, steep walk to the pension, car hire is required.
