Merovigla

Located at the highest point of Santorini in the area of Imerovigli, less than two kilometers from Fira Town, this small complex of only 11 very spacious studio apartments (35-45 sq. meters) offers lovely views of the caldera and the volcano, or the village, or an uninterrupted sea view. Built in 1996 and renovated in 2003, the architecture of the complex combines the best of Cycladic and modern styles.

The Merovigla studios are equipped with satellite TV, telephone, fully-equipped kitchenette, mini fridge, private bath, and balcony. They accommodate two or three persons.

Since the complex sits back from the edge of the cliff, the swimming pool occupies a larger area than usual and has a surrounding terrace and landscaped garden. It provides for a relaxing area for swimming, sunning, or just reading a good book. There's also a handy pool bar for refreshments.

The complex offers a very nice expanded continental breakfast which can be served poolside or on your veranda (at extra charge). There is daily maid service, free Internet access, and parking nearby.

Veranda views from the rooms vary depending on the room's location. There are caldera views, or plain sea views, or village views.

Even in high season, the rates are very reasonable.
