Rodos Palace

This five-star hotel, resort, and convention center is located at the beach of Ixia, and is probably one of the largest resorts in the country. In fact, with its variety of 785 units, plus its very impressive facilities and services, one might even call this a village unto itself!

The Rodos Palace is a marvelous sprawling complex covering thirty acres, with a lovely variety of accommodation appealing to just about every business and leisure market. The focal point of the hotel complex is its 20-story main building housing 357 standard rooms, 24 Junior Suites, and 5 Presidential Suites. This entire main building underwent a total renovation in 2001.

Next is the 7-story Executive Wing which holds 172 Executive rooms, 7 corner Executive Suites, and 1 Royal Suite.

And last, but not least, is the apartment and bungalow complex with more than 14 buildings terraced along the hillside and featuring studios, apartments, bungalows, and Presidential Villas, some with kitchen facilities, shared pools, or private pools. An awesome array of accommodation!

Every accommodation, from Standard guest room and on up include closets with full-length mirrors; air-conditioning/ heating with individual thermostat control; direct-dial telephone with voice mail and single touch buttons to hotel services; mini-bar; satellite color TV set (21") with remote control, Pay-TV and Teleletext; radio channels; electromagnetic key card locking system; Internet connection; and private bath with hairdryer, telephone, and deluxe bathroom amenities.

All accommodation have balcony, veranda or terrace, and views vary between garden, pool or sea.

To facilitate a large number of guests, the hotel has 8 different restaurants, two specifically for breakfast, one main restaurant, one for the Executive Wing and Suites, two gourment restaurants with Greek and International menus, one pool restaurant, and a special family-style restaurant during high season, plus numerous snack bars.

There are two large split-level swimming pools, a lagoon, an indoor Olympic-size pool, a children's pool and playground, plus an organized beach with watersports. Recreation includes two floodlit tennis courts, volleyball court, and indoor games, such as table tennis and billiards. The fitness center offers aerobics, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam and massage.

Services for guests include a shopping arcade, 24-Hour Reception/Safe Boxes, and an Internet Corner. Conference facilities include 20 multi-use Halls for 20 to 4,000 delegates.
