This four-star hotel was built in the sixties, and renovated its rooms and restaurant in 1998. More recently, they renovated their Piano restaurant, reception, lounges and conference space.
The main restaurant overlooks the revitalized Karaiskaki Square, with its unique monument of a deceased Aviator. A second restaurant, VIRTUS, is located on the rooftop, with a magnificent view of the City of Athens, the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill.
The Stanley has three bars, an outdoor swimming pool (seasonally open), hair salon, and a jewelry shop. The hotel’s 24-Hour Reception is situated in the newly renovated main lobby, showcasing granite floors, new artwork, modern decor, and state-of-the-art lighting and climate control. The hotel also offers spacious conference facilities and meeting rooms.
In all, the hotel has 389 guest rooms. Single rooms are spacious, interior rooms with color satellite television, mini safe, direct-dial telephone, PC socket, central air conditioning, and private bath with shower, hairdryer and telephone. Double rooms are similarly equipped and are interior, or exterior rooms with balcony.
The Executive rooms face the roundabout and Karaiskaki Square and have a king size bed and a pullout sofa bed, mini fridge, desk, and trouser press. In the bathroom, you'll find a Jacuzzi tub, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers.
