Orloff Hotel |
The Orloff Hotel building is representative of the typical noble houses of Hydra, in the 18th century. The architecture is a solid structure with high ceilings, thick walls, and large fortified windows. Originally renovated in 1986, the hotel has only 9 rooms and suites, with a high level of service.
The main Reception Hall has an entire wall full of windows to let in the Mediterranean light. The atmosphere of the house is very relaxed, with inner courtyards and a secluded garden with Mediterranean plants, all secured by high whitewashed walls.
The Breakfast area opens up to the garden, with high walls covered with jasmine, wild roses and bougainvilleas, offering complete privacy to the guests.
The rooms and suites are elegant and refined and and includeair conditioning, color satellite television, direct-dial telephone, mini bar, safe box, hairdryer, and private bathroom.
The Orloff Hotel stands on an advantageous site, very central and yet very calm, in the heart of Hydra town. |
