Bratsera Hotel |
The hotel building, once a sponge factory dating to 1860, has been beautifully renovated and features 23 guest rooms and suites, all designed and styled in the typical Hydriot manner. It has a large courtyard garden with a beautiful swimming pool and landscaping in keeping with the local traditions.
The hotel's reception occupies the largest part of the hotel, furnished with comfortable seating areas and a fireplace. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, either indoors or outside at the swimming pool.
The hotel complex entirely surrounds a large garden of oleander and jacaranda, bougainvillea, wild herbs and cypress. A court and colonnaded swimming pool occupy the spacious garden, with colonnades of wisteria-covered trellises shading the outdoor dining area.
Bratsera's 23 rooms and suites are individual in design, mostly in nautical style. Amenities include direct-dial telephone, air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi Internet, color television, mini fridge, safe box, and hairdryer. Some of the rooms have private balcony or terrace, and all have private bath.
The Virani Suite occupies the top floor of a separate building dating from 1750, with a ceiling bordered by hand painted friezes.
For conferences and meetings, The Grand Hall seats 100 people comfortably, and is fully air-conditioned.
The hotel is only two minute's walking distance from the port, set in a secluded courtyard. |
