Koukounaries Beach, Skiathos

Welcome to Koukounaries!

At approximately 10 km from Skiathos Town, this beautiful area is surrounded by pine trees, hence the name Koukounaries, which means pine cone. The beach itself stretches for about 2 kilometers along the sandy shore. Along the beach, a bit of the pine forest separates the sea from a freshwater lagoon. It is one of the most beautiful spots on the island. There is easy access to the public bus, and the beach has eating facilities, some water sports and sunbeds and umbrellas.
