Welcome to Sissi!
This lovely small resort is situated on the north coast, 40 kilometers from Heraklion and 25 kilometers from Agios Nikolaos. It is a perfect alternative to the more lively and hectic resorts along the coast, though it will give you all of the infrastructure necessary for an exceptional holiday.
Sissi is actually a small fishing village, with a picture-postcard setting. Mountains form a backdrop to the village and, in addition to nature walks, you’ll also find a cycling path. In the village and at the port, you’ll find good tavernas and restaurants, a few bars, cafes and shops. You have the possibility of several small beaches, with the award winning sand beach of Boufos just to the east of the village, and the small beach of Avlaki further along. You can also visit the nearby villages of Vrahasi and Epano Sisi, typical and charming Cretan villages.
