Welcome to Panormos!
Just a short half-hour drive east of Rethymno will bring you to a marvelous seaside village situated on the north coast of Crete. Combining the best of beautiful beaches and a traditional village atmosphere, Panormo is an ideal spot for summer holidays.
There is the old port which was quite prominent during Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine times, which lends an historic aspect to the village, plus lovely side streets to explore, offering a wide variety of cafes, tavernas and shops.
Easy day-trips can be made to the Monastery of Arkadi and to the village of Margarites, where traditional pottery and woodcarving are featured.
