Welcome to Zachlorou!
Zachlorou is a village on the rack train's railway, in the Aegio district. Until recently, there was no road passing through this tiny village, there was only the rack train station that connected Zachlorou to the rest of the world. The name of the village comes from the name of its French founder, Jacques Le Roux, involved in establishing the train connection between Diakopto and Kalavrita during the last decade of the 19th century.
