Welcome to Kissamos!
In spite of its population of about 15,000, the area of Kissamos is not overtly touristy, perhaps because the locals still spend a great deal of their time with agricultural pursuits, including wine making and olive oil production.
You will find a good assortment of accommodation, excellent tavernas, and exquisite beaches. There are some superb sites to visit, including the medieval villages, the old Castle with its mosaic floors, the nearby archaeological sites of Polyrenia and Falassarna, the gorges of Topolia, and the isles of Gramvoussa.
