Welcome to Tholaria!
On the west side of the island of Amorgos, a bit higher than Aegiali, we come to Tholaria, full with whitewashed little houses and stone-paved winding narrow streets. It is a sublime village, typically Cycladic, surrounded by mountains and the sea.
Here one can really relax, and, if you like, go trekking on the ancient pathways and on to the ancient acropolis, or go swimming at the amazing sand beach of Aegiali. There is some accommodation available on the spot (see below), or we'll offer you something to your liking in Aegiali itself, where the tourist infrastructure is broader and the atmosphere livlier.
