The tiny village of Ktikados, which is accessed by the main road for Pyrgos, lies at a distance of about 5 kilometers from Tinos Town. The village itself overlooks the coastal region of Kionia, and this is a village with both Catholic and Orthodox churches. A wonderful aspect of the village is that there is no thru-road, so you need to park at the entrance and walk through. Lovely architecture will be found here, along with the old public fountain, an excellent taverna, and beautiful marble details, especially on the Orthodox church of Ypapandi. It should also be said that the Catholic church of the True Cross might be the oldest on the island. Lovely countryside views can be had from this village, and peace and quiet surrounds you.
