Welcome to Lagonissi Beach!
On the way down to Sounion, and just after Vouliagmeni, you’ll pass by the nearly exclusive community of Lagonissi Beach. We could call this area “Millionaires Row” for all of the luxury seafront villas built along this stretch. The name of the beach comes from the small island opposite, which at one time was home to many hares.
This area is part of the well-known “Gold Coast,” an area roughly stretching from Glyfada all along the coast down to Anavyssos. The entire area is quite posh, with high residential rents and gorgeous views. Along the way, especially at Glyfada, Voula, and Vouliagmeni, there are some fantastic beaches, superb hotels, which are reasonably priced, and lovely restaurants and tavernas.
