Welcome to Nea Skioni!
Nea Skioni is situated at the southwest end of Kassandra's peninsula at a distance of almost 110 km from Thessaloniki. It forms a traditional Greek village built in an enchanting area of rare natural beauty, where the visitor has the chance to combine both swimming and taking a walk through a pine-clad forest. According to Thucydides, Skioni was built by the Pelleneans from Peloponnese on their way back from the war of Troy. The fishing village, Nea Skioni, possesses a necklace of inviting beaches, and the freshest of seafood served in abundance with good wine, all at small seaside tavernas with a friendly atmosphere.
