Welcome to Tolo!
Tolo (or Tolon) Village used to be a picturesque fishing village on the coast of Argolis. Due to the fact that it is located only 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Nafplion, and because it has a very long, superb fine sand beach, it soon became a world-renowned resort. It has a very good hotel and water sports infrastructure: its small harbor, protected by the islet of Romvi, offers sail or motorboat rentals, and features a ride on a glass bottom boat for everyone to admire the crystal clear visible seabed of the Argolic Bay. Tolo is a snorkeling paradise.
Sailing along the coast towards Nafplion, one reaches a series of fantastic, secluded small sandy beaches and the kilometers-long Karathona Beach. The landscape is breathtaking, with this precipitous several hundred foot-high coastline and its equally breathtaking deep dive into the depths of the Argolic Gulf. A lot of underwater caves wait for the experienced diver to explore. From Tolo, one can easily cross to Spetses on a rented boat. If one decides to exploit what is locally offered, fresh fish served at local tavernas is delicious. Tolo has a vivid nightlife, as it has always been preferred by young people.
