To get from Athens to Aedipsos, one can follow two itineraries: You can follow the Athens-Thessaloniki National Road up to the exit to Chalkis, drive towards Chalkis, cross the strait through the 'New' High Bridge, get to Evia and drive north towards Mandoudi. Just before Mandoudi turn left to Limni and then to Aedipsos. A most beautiful itinerary, nevertheless somewhat demanding on the driver's skills. A second alternative is not to turn to Chalkis but to drive on until we reach the 151st kilometer and Arkitsa; there are open ferries crossing the strait from Arkitsa to Aedipsos every little while. After a short trip of some three quarters of an hour, we disembark at Aedipsos Spa.
It is following this second alternative route that we shot the photos in this album; here are some photos at Arkitsa and the ferry and some of Aedipsos itself.
