Siatista Churches

Twenty six post-Byzantine churches have been inherited by the artistic past of the city to nowadays Siatista. Built in around the same decades as its famous impressive Mansions and by, more or less, the very same artisans and masters, survive as most precious relics of the cultural tradition of Siatista, Makedonia and the whole of Greece. Stone built, with oak transoms and beams, small windows, in Basilica order, are full with frescoes and precious icons.
