8 Days / 7 Nights - Athens (1 night) - Crete (5 nights) - Athens (1 night)

Kri-Kri on Dia Island

This itinerary certainly emphasizes the extraordinary historical and archaeological wonders of Greece! From the monuments of Athens to the fabled Palace of Knossos, you'll have a week to explore some of the most interesting sights in the country. With five full days at Heraklion, there is no limit to the number of sights you can see. The city of Heraklion itself is one of the most interesting, and its Archaeological Museum is second only to that of Athens. A tour of the site of Knossos is an absolute must, and the excursion to Gortys-Phaistos-Matala includes some of the loveliest scenery in the country, as does the outstanding tour of Southeast Crete. This is definitely for lovers of landscape views. For land and seascapes, there's the Kri-Kri cruise to Dia Island, following in the footsteps of Jacques Cousteau.
