Minos Mare Royal Organized Beach

The resort is located directly on the wonderful sandy beach of Platanias and shares Spa facilities with its four-star sister hotel, the Minos Mare, just next door. Numerous dining facilities are available, plus a swimming pool, organized beach, and excellent accommodation.

The hotel features a main restaurant with buffet breakfast and dinner, indoor and outdoor seating and a view of the pool. There's a second buffet-style restaurant with Cretan specialties and an International menu, and the beach restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and light snacks throughout the day. There's also the main bar and pool bar.

Just a few of the hotel's facilities include a mini market and gift shop, jewelry shop, small library, Internet Corner, the main swimming pool with hydro-massage, paddling pool, children's playground and games room with billiards and table tennis.

There are 65 comfortable and attractive guest rooms and 6 suites, all with excellent amenities. Included are individual temperature control, direct-dial telephone, color satellite television, DVD player, CD/MP3/radio system, stocked mini bar, high speed Internet, electronic safe, coffee/tea facilities, and private balconies with screened doors.

Every accommodation has a private bath with bathtub and shower, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, telephone, scales, magnifying mirror and towel dryer.

The Superior rooms have pool views, the Executive Superior rooms have side sea view, and the Suites have a panoramic sea view.
